EPV Summer Courses: Frequently Asked Questions
Before you get in touch, here are answers to the questions we hear most often. Most issues below can be sorted in a couple of minutes without waiting for a reply.
That’s okay, just follow the instructions below:
- Click on the Login page in the top menu bar
- Click “Forgot password”.
- Enter the email address you registered with.
- Check your inbox for the reset email, including your spam or promotions folder, it usually arrives within a few minutes.
- Follow the link in that email to set a new password and log in.
Double check you’re using the email address you registered with, not a work or secondary email, and that you’re logging in on our main website rather than Teachable (see below). Your course uses one account and password, not a separate code system.
Our EPV summer courses aren’t hosted on Teachable, so you shouldn’t need to log in there. If you’ve landed on a Teachable login page, or an old link has taken you there, that’s not the right place for your course. Head to our main website instead and log in with the email and password you used at checkout.
This is almost always down to how it’s being typed in rather than the password itself. A few things to check:
- Type the password in directly rather than relying on autofill or a saved version, autofill can quietly re-enter an old password.
- Watch out for autocapitalise on mobile, it can capitalise the first letter without you noticing.
- Check your Caps Lock isn’t on.
- If you copied the password rather than typing it, make sure no extra space came with it at the start or end.
If it’s still not working after checking all of the above, reset it again using the steps above and set a new password you’re confident you’re typing correctly.
There are three common reasons for this:
- You’re not actually logged into the right account when you click the link, even if you were logged in a moment ago. Go to the login page on our main website, sign in with the email address you registered with, and then navigate to your course from your account dashboard rather than clicking an old email link.
- Your course group hasn’t started yet. Courses only open on their group’s start date, so check your dates below.
- Your course group has finished. Courses close at the end of their group’s run.
This year’s group dates are:
- Group 1: 1st – 15th July 2026
- Group 2: 20th July – 3rd August 2026
- Group 3: 5th – 21st August 2026
This almost always means you registered with a different email address than the one you’re currently logged in with. If you have more than one email address, try logging in with each one, your course will be attached to whichever address you used at checkout.
Double check the exact code, including capital letters, as codes are case sensitive and easy to mistype. If you copied it from an email or social post, make sure there’s no extra space at the start or end.
If the card payment option isn’t accepting your details, try refreshing the page and re-entering your card details manually rather than using autofill. If it still fails, try a different browser or device, this resolves the issue in most cases.
Progress only updates when you click “Complete” at the end of a lesson, it isn’t triggered by watching a video, posting in the forum, or spending time in a module. If you’ve finished a lesson, go back and mark it complete manually.
